Situated in the township of Gwa, Arakan Nature Lodge is about a 3 hour-drive south of Ngapali Beach on the Western Coast of Myanmar. It is a world away from the resorts and luxury hotels upstate.

The design of the minimalist bungalows is based on traditional Rakhine architecture, accentuated open fronts, allowing a sea breeze to naturally cool the interiors. The bungalows are spacious and elegant and ensure that the beauty of their surroundings remain centre stage. Each is slightly different, with most of the furniture having been crafted by local carpenters in Yangon.
